Indoors or outdoors — your call
I bring a portable backdrop and lighting for a classroom, hallway or gym, and I am just as happy on your playground or under a tree. We pick whichever gives your children the better light on the day.
One photographer, start to finish
I photograph the day and I edit every frame myself. No rotating contractors, no call centre, and one person you can reach on the phone all year.
Four steps, and three of them are mine
A short call
Ten minutes. How many children, how many classes, what your space looks like, and what you would like for the website. I send back one flat number for the day.
You send one email
I give you the wording and a link for families. That is the entire administrative load on your school — one email, sent once.
Photo day
I arrive early and set up before drop-off. Children come a class at a time, roughly a minute or two each. Teachers stay with their class the whole time and the day runs on your schedule, not mine.
Galleries within two weeks
Each family gets a private gallery of their own child. Your staff portraits and school photos come to you in the same window, free, sized for your website and enrollment materials.

Every day is quoted individually — the number depends on how many children, how many classes, and whether it is a half or a full day. The quote is one flat figure with no add-ons, and it is covered by family orders rather than your school's budget.

I am based in Riverdale, so most of these schools are a short drive rather than a day trip. If your school is nearby and not on this list, ask anyway.

What does it cost the school?
Nothing. Photo days start at $1,495 for a half day, and that is covered by family orders, not by your budget. There is no sitting fee, no minimum, and no invoice to the school. Staff portraits and website photos are included at no charge.
How much work is this for our office?
One email. I write the wording and provide the link; you send it to your family list. There are no order envelopes to collect, no cash to count, and no forms to chase. Families order online, directly from me.
How do you handle photos of children?
Each family opts in and agrees to their own terms when they register, and each family only ever sees photographs of their own child. I do not use images of children in advertising, on my website, or on social media — the only photographs I publish from a school day are staff portraits and building shots, and only with your permission.
Indoors or outdoors?
Either. I bring a portable backdrop and lighting for a classroom, hallway, or gym, and I also shoot outdoors on your grounds when the weather and light cooperate. Most schools pick on the morning of, once we see the day.
How many children can you photograph in a day?
Up to about 60 children in a full day, working at a pace that does not rush anyone. I am a one-person studio, so I would rather tell you an honest number than promise a whole elementary school and hurry the children through.
When do you run photo days?
Weekdays, on your schedule, since that is when your school is open. Fall dates fill first, so it helps to reach out early in the term.
What if a child is absent or having a rough morning?
That happens at every school and it is planned for. Anyone who is absent, upset, or simply not in the mood gets picked up on a retake — no extra charge and no fuss.
How quickly do families get their photos?
Within two weeks. I edit every image myself, so I quote a date I can actually hold rather than a fast one I cannot. If you have a newsletter or an enrollment deadline, tell me on the call and we schedule the day around it.
Do you work with offices and teams too?
Yes — the same on-site format works for staff headshot days at an office. Those are quoted the same way, starting at $1,495 for a half day.
