Common Questions
Where and when do you shoot?
Individual, family and mini sessions are outdoors on Saturdays and Sundays, in Van Cortlandt Park and Riverdale — easy on the 1 train, free parking nearby. Also bookable anywhere within a ~15-minute drive of 10463: Untermyer Park & Gardens in Yonkers, Bronxville, Hastings-on-Hudson, Dobbs Ferry, Scarsdale, Pelham, Mount Vernon. School and team photo days run on weekdays, on site at your school or office.
How far in advance do I need to book?
At least one week. The booking calendar opens seven days out, so same-week and same-weekend dates aren't available — lock in your weekend early.
How quickly will I get my photos?
Headshots and minis come back within 48 hours, fully retouched, in a private online gallery. Family sessions take up to five days because there are more images to finish. School and team days are delivered within two weeks — I edit every frame myself, and I would rather quote a date I can hold than a fast one I cannot.
What does NEW50 do?
It takes $50 off your first full-price session at checkout — $99 for your first Outdoor Headshot, or $149 for your first One-Hour Session. The $65 Stroll & Shoot and the $195 Family Session are already at their floor, so the code does not apply there.
What's the difference between the Outdoor Headshot and the One-Hour Session?
Time and range. The 30-minute Outdoor Headshot is built to nail one great frame. The One-Hour Session runs a full 60 minutes across two to three outfits and several spots, and comes back as a much fuller gallery — headshots plus half-body and environmental frames for websites, social, and personal branding. Same retouching standard, same 48-hour delivery.
What is your refund policy?
Bookings are non-refundable, but you can reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice at no charge. If it rains, we move you to the next weekend slot that works — free.
Do you shoot schools, teams, events, or anything bigger?
Yes — school photo days, team headshot days at your office, and event coverage are all arranged by quote, starting at $1,495 for a half day. I am a one-person studio, so I book a limited number of these each month and schedule them on weekdays. Start at the school photo day page or send a message through the contact page.
