They're affordable because they're short, outdoor, and in my home neighborhood — no studio rent, no travel time, no padding. If you've been putting off real photos because of price, this is your session.
Mini Session Questions
Why are these sessions so affordable?
They're short, outdoor, and shot in my home neighborhood — Van Cortlandt Park and Riverdale — so there's no studio rent baked into the price. You get the same photographer, the same Leica gear, and the same retouching as the full sessions, just in a tighter time window.
When do Weekend Minis happen?
Saturdays and Sundays, morning through golden hour. Pick your slot when you book — golden-hour times go first, especially for the Instagram/Model Mini.
Where exactly do we shoot?
Van Cortlandt Park (meadows, woods, stone bridges) or the leafy streets and Hudson views of Riverdale. Easy on the 1 train, free parking nearby. If you have a nearby spot in mind, mention it in your booking notes.
How many photos do I get?
Every standout frame from your session, fully retouched, in a private online gallery. A 20-minute Stroll & Shoot typically yields a smaller set than a 30-minute mini, but you always get the best of what we shoot — no artificial caps.
Can I use the NEW50 code on a mini?
No — minis are already priced at our floor, so promo codes don't apply to them. NEW50 takes $50 off the full sessions: the LinkedIn Headshot ($99) and the NYC Photoshoot ($149).
What if it rains?
We reschedule to the next weekend slot that works for you, at no charge. Outdoor sessions live and die by the light, so I'd rather move you than shoot you in a drizzle.
